Clinical training comprises 20 of the 100 hours of in-classroom coursework, wherein participants practice needle-handling, needle technique, point location, and the hands-on implementation of diagnostic frameworks such as tongue and pulse diagnosis.
Participants learn how to apply the theories and skills needed to diagnose patients and formulate treatments according to traditional acupuncture diagnostic frameworks commonly known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
In addition to traditional theories, this program includes contemporary neurological and physiological perspectives on how acupuncture works and the best practices for integration into a chiropractic practice.
In addition to traditional needling techniques, contemporary treatment styles employing release of trigger points and myofascial stress patterns are covered in some depth.
In addition to invasive needling techniques, the program includes practical instruction on moxi bustion, cupping, gua-sha, electro-acupuncture and laser-acupuncture.
Lecture notes are provided in a PDF format for download. All attendees also receive lifetime access to the online coursework for future review/reference.
